THE HIGH GARDEN
The High Garden Is an Architectural exploration concerned about rapid urbanization, the sustainability of architecture, Climate change and food safety in urban centres. Inspired by Ancient Japanese Architecture, modern timber engineering and IoT in Architecture, the project develops and tests a series of tools. Firstly, the High Garden develops an algorithmic analysis tool which analyses the cities and finds prospect sites for intervention. Secondly, through modular timber architecture and sun and exposure analysis, it forms a sustainable timber extension for buildings with possibilities of vertical farming with maximum sustainability. Formed by sustainable materials, it not only improves existing buildings’ insulation but opens new possibilities for the buildings and revitalizes them for the civic.

UMEÅ DIGITAL HUB
Umeå Digital Hub was part of Studio 10 at UMA titled ‘Civic Cities’. The civic city concerns people’s presence and engagements in the built environment. I used this agenda to revitalize an industrial/residential neighbourhood in Umeå. Through Independent site analyses and interviews, talking with the municipal planning department and studying past and future detail plans of the area, I was able to propose an open building using open-source and citizen-led timber construction for small business owners and new small businesses.

IBG HQ
IBG House project’s paramount aim is the promotion of non-oil industries. In a country where the most lucrative industry is oil, IBG House is an architectural attempt to empower other industries. The client of this project was a group called IBG (Iranian Barista Guild) and through collaboration with them, the project was able to centralise their activities in one place. Centred around the coffee industry, the project is a multi-functional facility for activities oriented by coffee industry such as research, exhibition area, auditorium, retail, workshop, etc. The project is located in the northern parts of the capital. Located in the rocky mountainside, the project tries to minimise its imposition to the surroundings by forming a deconstructed rocky concept.

GREEN CORRIDOR RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX
As our cities grow, architecture should help people build sustainable communities for themselves. The green corridor is a residential building with that notion in mind. Located in the heavily under construction district of the city commonly known as ‘tower district’, the project tried to radically spin the residential tower typology toward the ground and challenge the hierarchy of residential towers. The project aimed to design a residential building which forms an integrated neighbouring society. Through using local and sustainable materials such as brick and wood, the project limits its Co2 Footprint. The project utilizes varies techniques to integrate nature with the building and tries to promote biophilia sense in people.

HORIZON CHILDREN HOSPITAL
The Horizon children’s’ hospital is a project with one question; ‘how can a hospital’s design be both playful and practical?’. Through my related voluntary activities in Mahak I realized children were often terrified by the look of the hospitals; Often tall and dark, hospitals had no place in children’s colourful minds. By utilizing the playfulness of the Lego toys as a concept, this project’s paramount aim was to maintain its interior practicality whilst promoting the joy and playfulness of the children’s mind.
